Pushto is a very ancient language.It
is spoken in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and Balochistan Provinces of Pakistan.It is one of the two official languages of
Afghanistan,the second being Dari.The people who speak Pushto are called Pushtuns/Pukhtuns or Afghans.

ئې شاندار که په هر رنګ
ئې کامله که
لياقت

يو څـــو خبرې
زمــا ستا د دې يارۍ پاتې
دي ګنى نـــو تــــا
سره مې څۀ د رشتنۍ پاتې
دي
د خېټې غم دے چې غنم
پسې په للمه ګرځم ما نه
سپرلي دخپل وطن په مجبورۍ
پاتې دي
زما د قـــام
نســـل کشى يې په بـــارودو
وکړه څو ستمونه چې لا
نور د دې صدۍ پاتې دي

هم اړولې نــــۀ شــى
